Black Magic

He sighed, why would his spell work for him? Of course it wouldn't he wasn't a magic user. He was still pissed about what she was doing, if only there was a way to break out of the room without it being completely noticeable. That was unlikely his parents were the strongest of the whole clan, and him the outcast. 'I HATE THEM ALL!' He screamed in his mind.

Alessandra smiled to herself, happy to get all of the anger out of her system. She was starting to turn away from the wall when she heard retaliation. "Of course you do," She grumbled giving the wall one last kick. Of course he hated all of the magic users, since he was jealous of them all. She moved back over to her bed, picked her laptop up off of the floor. It was time to get on the internet.

Raven though quickly as he was booted out of her account. He logged back in under her name and quickly changed her password and e-mail address so she couldn't get into it. The hack was of course untraceable even for the magic users administration. How could a magic user track a mortal over the internet, even if they did follow the i.p address it would only leadt back to the house it was set up in.

Her fingers worked fast in the keyboard. Of course she was used to this username and password-wha?! For some unknown reason, it wasn't letting her in...

Her head lifted back up and Alessandra was left staring at the wall the way she had just a few minutes ago. She gritted her teeth and closed her eyes, taking a deep breath in order to allow herself to calm down. No need to punish the wall now Aless, just stay cal-

"You fucking moron, what the hell is wrong with you?!" She screamed as she pounded on the wall again. "Change it back right now before I turn you into a fucking toad!"

He sat back in the chair typing a message up to her. "Get in here and make me bitch!" He sat on the bed his temper through the roof. He was tired of being pushed around by a fucking magic user. "I doubt you can break down mom and dad's barrier more then once in a day." He moved over behind the door waiting for her to take the bait and come busting in again.

She shook as she leaned against the wall, wanted to just tear a hole in the wall and kick her brother in the nuts to make sure that a dumbass like him could never reproduce. Instead, she remembered what happened when she took his advice last time. He got her in trouble. She smirked to herself and started to move away from the wall. "No way. You play dirty, but so can I. I know how bad of a temper you have, and you can't come out of mom and dad's seal to get me, either." She grinned. "So how 'bout that? You're a good for nothing fish out of water."

He looked over at the screen and seen her reply. The insult only pushed him over the edge again, with a swift kicked his door was kicked open and the sound of something similar to glass breaking though there wasn't any glass in the hallway. He walked out of the room not sure exactly what had happened but he tried it again on her door and from the top hinges it feel down into the room again the sound of glass where there wasn't any.

The barriers were broken. She turned and set her laptop onto the floor, raising up from her bed suddenly. How can a mortal break the barriers so easily? She stared at him in amazement, shaking her head. The white shift that she wore stood tight against her skin as her chest rose and fell, and her hair fell down her back, glittering with it's silken tresses. "How did you do that?!"

'I told you to shut up!' His mind spoke looking over at her. how many times have you pushed me around just because I couldn't do what you could? At least two hundred and seventy five time wasn't it? He was mad enough he could just pull her off the bed, he could see himself mentally grabbing her by the collar and lifting her from her mattress one handed.

Her eyes widened because she felt the influence, but she couldn't stop it. Suddenly, Alessandra was being lifted from the back of her dress. The front of it slid up, moving up her legs as it started to choke her. Her feet kicked a bit as they dangled in the air and she lifted her hands up to clutch at her neck, her eyes wide with wonder. Her brother...was using magic!

"You're...choking me!" She gasped, fighting against the pain that was at her throat.

He let her throat go but held her wrist. 'Maybe you'll learn not to be such a bitch!' He let her body go as the door moved back onto it's hinges. He walked out of the room with his new found powers and placed his own barrier up. I feel sorry for everyone in this house, picking on me and treating me like filth. Poor mother and father are going to be in for it when they come home next week.' he thought to himself.

Her wrist almost burned beneath his touch. The minute he let go, she snatched it away from his grasp and continued to glare at him. Yes, he had power, but was it stronger than hers? It seemed that he had to tap into it using some form of trigger. Alessandra just had hers at her fingertips. Still, she didn't want to fight with the bastard anymore, especially not now that he had almost choked her. She lifted her hand up and rubbed her neck as she went back to sit on her bed. The bad part was that they were both still grounded and had to stay near eachother for the entire weekend. This was NOT going to be fun.

Raven sat back in his computer chair and with a flick of his wrist everything was back the way it was without any indication of either of them having a confrontation. He sat back wondering what had just happened, he understood what he did. The question was how did he do it? When did he get magic, had he had it this whole time, or was it just given to him through study? Either way didn't really matter anymore he was the same, he had what everyone else had and didn't need to be treated differently now. Should he apologize to his sister, or should he let her live with it being she had treated him like shit his whole life? He wasn't sure, but maybe since he could use magic now she wouldn't be such a bitch to him.

"I hate him," She growled under her breath as she stared down at the floor. She was still baffled at how he had gotten magic to be on his side. He was so unworthy for it a minute ago, and now it was claiming him as if he were it's right vessel. There was something wrong with that, and Alessandra knew that she was going to have to find out what it was. This weekend, when they were grounded, she would do it.
