How long had it been since she had a bite? Honestly it was not that long. She always had a fresh supply on hand, so fresh that it was straight from the source. The vampires were enraged with this one. No matter how newly turned they were, vampires were a combined deal. Though they usually hunted alone, they were able to come together in large groups to make more "civilized" means of finding sustenance. This group of vampires were highly tethered to their Mistress, and so they did not take kindly to insults, especially from prisoners who would soon be dead anyway. They fell silent as they dragged him up the stairs. The minute the opened the door that lead down into the dungeon the appearance of the house seemed to get better. It also looked like it was locked in a time capsule and they had been sent back many many years. They brought him up the stairs and into the dining room where the Mistress was still waiting. Xavier stepped to the side, brandishing his arm to show the prisoner with a flourish. "Your request, m'lady."

Gwenivere knew they were coming before they even arrived. She had heard the chains that locked his feet together dragging along the floor, and the ones attached to his wrist clinging together. She tilted her head in a sort of amused stance when they showed him to her. He was not what she had expected. She rose from her chair with grace, the form-fitting red dress falling into place. His shirt was already torn in many places and he looked like he had been captured for a long time. Why hadn't they informed her about this development? She knew that they went out twice a week to find new men in order to keep her supply fresh, but usually if something interesting came in they would have told her. The Mistress had approved and so they had done their job well. Once he was securely fastened, they stepped away and melded into the shadows, just there to watch if something terrible happened.

The words cause him to look towards the source to find her closing the rather large gap.
