Hunter had just set down his razor when someone knocked on the door to the dorm. "Coming" he said and hurried to open it. smiling when he saw it was Alex. "hey, wow, you great," he said looking her up and down quickly and then stepped back, welcoming her in side. "I didn't know how long you'd be so I set the chicken in the fridge. everything else on the counter, he stated, leading her to the small kitchen. "you want me to help with anything?" he asked.

"no just sit and relax" she said she pulled out the chicken breasts and covered them in flour and put them in a pan of oil to fry. while she shredded some of the cheese and started chopping the broccoli to add to the cheese soup. She diced the tomato and readied the rice keeping very busy. once all the parts of the meal were readied she divided up the rice tthen pu a layer of the broccoli cheese soup on then the chicken then another layer of the soup then the cheese then the tomato she served the meal "the food is ready.,

"Alright he said, wearily, as she got started, sticking around the kitchen proper to fix to grab a glass of ice water before slipping out. he didn't leave the kitchen really, but took a seat at the table and watched her work, commenting about the wonderful smells coming from the dish in preparation. when it was all done, he stairs wide eyed at the delicious meal she had prepared. "Wow." was all he said for a moment. "you must be the daughter of a five star chef, cause this looks better then great." he stated as words just popped out of his mouth.

She blushed "thank you but I learned all this on my own I cooked for myself often so I learned to make recipes out of anything I could find in the kitchen at least that was left." she said softly she got acup of water and sat down "try it you will not be hungry for quite a while. oh and I found a way to shut up your sister. she saw what I picked out and started drillign me with questions about a date and I told her she should know plenty about it since it was going to be with her brother and went silent." she said laughing a bit.

He laughed some at her story of his sisters shock. "I'm willing to bet it shocked the piss out of her." he said with a almost innocent grin. "I would be shock to all hell i f my room mate had a date with my sibling, of course with my room mate, I'd have to kill him if her hurt her." he explained, before taking a big bite out of the meal, "mmm... Now this is great food, best thing I've ever had, Alex, and that is counting a Philly cheese steak sandwich" he said, smiling.

She smiled eating some of hers "stop it you'll make me blush again. you know what would be good with this...wine" she said softly she finished her food fairly quickly though figuring he didn't have any. She got up putting her plate in the sink. "well I'm kind of glad you startled me and made me fall out of that tree." she said smiling a bit.

"I know" he said, wishing he did have something other then water, sodas and beers in the fridge. with out it though, he finished his meal quickly as well, "Oh?" he asked, following her to the sink "why do you say that?" he added, raising a brow slightly. he was curious as to why she'd say something that.

"because if I hadn't I wouldn't have met you" she said softly she reached up she started to touch his cheek she hesitated then touched his cheek softly strokign the skin with her thumb she blushed and moved away "ahem...so about that movie" she said softly.

*well I couldn't think of what to watch myself, so.." he walks out the living room area and grabs a long thick CD case, opening it to revile a wide assortment of DVDs, holding it our for her to go through. "I figured it best for you to pick, sorry though, no really lovey-dovey movies in there." he explained, as he took a seat on the couch. he thought, though, that she was acting a bit odd, a moment ago when she toughed his cheek, like she wasn't comfortable, but he didn't say anything or do anything to try and touch her without her approval , figuring it'd make her even more uncomfortable.

She looked through the movies she wasn't sure what to pick so she jsut pulled out american pie "lets watch this one" she said softly. she looked him in the eyes and smiled. "sorry I'm not too good at the date thing I barely get past the first date. except for on a rare occaision. " she said softly. She leaned in close to him her lips a few inches from his she wanted to kiss him but she didn't want to upset him.

"Well, he said, "here's to rare occasions." he said and leaned in the last bit, giving her a quick lite peck on the lips before moving back. "Sorry, " he said. "just seemed like you were hesitating, " he explained, hoping she wasn't mad at him for kissing her just briefly "if you want to go. that's okay with me..." he said softly

"no its fine" she said softly she leaned in and kissed him back but this time was longer than the last then she pulled away "we should watch that movie now" she said softly blushing a bit. He was for lack of a better word perfect for her. he suited her well his personality he might actually be a keeper and some one that might stick around for a while.

Hunter smiled and then looked at the DVD, unrated, well he did buy it and left it in there. "Okay," he said "but just a warning, it's the unrated version of the movie," he warned as he put it in dvd player he brought from home. picking up the remote he tossed it Alex as he got the lights. "that's better, no glare to deal with" he said smiling at her.

She smiled "I'm not afraid of it I've seen it before I enjoyed it last time too."she said softly she curled up slightly as she waited for the movie to stop. She looked over at him with a strange affection in her eyes. She was truly happy right now not something she had had ever expected from this place.

"Alright alright" he said, laughing some and he leaned back, he had to admit the movie was funny. but he sometimes glanced over at Alex, still smiling but not because of the movie. he was happy she took him up on a date. while it might not have been something grand and spectacular it was nice and simple.

She smiled up at him and she rested her head on his shoulder when she caught him looking at her she leaned up kissing him deeply and affectionately. she gently stroked his face happily. She smiled as she kissed him then started to pull away biting her lip a bit shyly.

He smiled as well, he wanted to wrap an arm around her and hold her close, but refrained. her kissing him and laying against him seemed to be all that she felt comfortable with. so he wouldn't push his luck or chance at a second date with unwanted contact, so he left his arm hanging off the back of the couch.

She smiled softly up at him "you respect me don't you " she said softly she looked up at him waiting for a clear answer before she would kiss him again. She wanted to kiss him again badly but wouldn't with out his answer. She looked up into his eyes waiting for his answer hoping ti was yes.

"Yes, Alex," he said, "I do respect you. a lot." he added, smiling at her. he leaned down some, looking into here eyes as he did. "I'll be honest with you, I want to wrap my arms around and hold you close right now, but i don't know how you'd feel if I did so, so I've not done so." he said.

"You are welcome to hold me like that if you want" she said softly she kissed him deeply "as long as you respect me you can hold me" she said softly she kissed him again. She held this kiss for a bit longer then she leaned into him a bit more she had not been paying hardly any attention to the movie. She was too eager to be close to him to do so.

He smiled some, and wrapped his arm around her gently, holding her as he kissed her back. "I will always respect you. " he said softly, rubbing his hand gently a long her back. silently, he promised himself only to go as far Alex was comfortable with, and no further.

She leaned up into him more kissing him more deeply then she slowly broke the kiss resting her head on his shoulder trying hard to take things slow with him since she was starting to develope feelings for him. She appreciated his respect. She looked up at him blushing slightly as she looked at him "perhaps you might like to walk me back to my dorm tonight?"

He smiled and nodded slightly before leaning down, kissing her gently on the top of her heard. "it's be an honor" he said, as he continued to run her back gently, taking it slow for her. he wasn't about to rush anything.

She smiled as he kissed her head "then I best be getting back then its late I think your sister has had enough surprises for one day I don't think she needs to be woken up" she said softly. She said softly she kissed his lips softly and started to get up. "I had a lot of fun tonight we should do something like this again." she said softly kind of hinting that she would be interested in a second date and perhaps a relationship.

"yeah, good idea, anymore may end up killing her." he said, smiling as kissed her back before standing up as well. "we can anytime you want to Alex." he said, turning off the t.v. and grabbing his keys so he could lock the door behind them, never could be too careful.
