Darkness was her favorite time. It was the time at which everything blended together and slowed down, the moon would shine beautiful and bright in the sky, and the waning light that reached the earth calmed and simulated love. What a delusion that was. She knew darkness for what it was...terror, horror, blood.
She shuddered as she moved down the street, her black heels clicking against the coblestone. Despite how dark it was, she would still stand out to anyone who could see her. Her head of crimson hair shone beautiful in the moonlight as it glittered and sparkled. Her skin threw rainbows in every direction with it's pale hue the perfect shade of white. Even the form-fitting black dress was perfect in the night's light. It had no straps, and clung onto her perfectly formed body by pure instinct, and it was as dark and black as the night sky. There was a slit that marked all the way up one side of the dress, splitting at the thigh so that one of her perfectly sculpted legs could be free of the fabric.
At the moment, she was just enjoying her walk. Then, her head snapped to the west, where the town's park had been. The wind had changed and it blew by her at an alarming speed. On it, was a scent that made the hairs on the back of her neck stand on end, and it sent an electric current running wild through her body. Blood!
She grinned to herself as she turned on her heel and began to quickly stalk away. She would be a bad example for future vampires if she ignored it, so...she was off to find it. Off to find it, and to satiate the hunger that had now started to ache in every muscle of her being.
