As she got up he sat up not following her just waiting to see what was wrong. His mouth went slack as the change began and just stared watching her undergo what would seem to be one of the most grueling things that he could think of. As it ended he slipped out of the bed moving over next to her his hand gently touching her arm, “I love you Anona…and I still love you no matter what you have been through in your past or what you must still go through to this day.”

She swatted him away she was a danger to him and herself like this she could not hear him right now. She only knew to push him away instead of attacking him. She looked around the room as if searchign she climbed the side of the cave up to a room that was far above everything else once up there she just stayed there panting she was trying to fight it back and it was gradually starting to fade away.

He groaned pulling himself up from where she had knocked him to the side. Popping his neck gently he moved back over to sit under where she was. He didn’t know how long these changes lasted but he was going to be here when she finally changed back to the woman that he loved. He would wait however long that took.

She stayed up there she curled up she was quivering she couldn't stop shaking she was trying to fight it back slowly she wings started to fold up under her shoulder blades. She slowly fell over and laid there quivering and panting while she shifted back to her natural form she laid there for a long time after she had finished her shifted.

He never moved just waiting for her to come down. He watched her change back to her true self and expected her to come down at that point but she didn’t. he sighed reaching out to her, “Please Anona come back to me I won’t hurt you or ever leave you.”

she crawled to the edge she looked down at him there was blood all down her bare back from the transformation. She was shaking slightly she looked down at him strangely, she stood shakily and jumped into the pool of water the water eased the pain while she would be healing from the transformation. She clenched her teeth while she focused for her back to heal completely. She slowly came out of the water she looked over at him.

He watched as she jumped into the water, he had learned quickly not to get worried for her. he just moved over to the side of the water waiting for her to come back up. When she finally did she was on the other side from him and he looked over at her concern and desire to share her pain. He reached his hand out to her offering her a place to come and draw strength from his face pleading her to take it wanting to share her burdens.

She just laid there looking at him she did not want to move her muscles ached. She closed her eyes the scars on her shoulder blades had reformed and she opened her eyes again it was a tired form of blinking. She slowly got up and went to the bed she stumbled but made it just the same.

He watched her struggling moving up slipping his arm around her waist helping her the last few feet to the bed. Laying her down he pulled the covers up to her neck tucking her lightly. “I love you Anona I want to help you but if you won’t let me I guess I will have to do it in my own way till you see that I can and will help you wither you like it or not.”

"I can't let you" she said softly. She moved away from him on the bed "you do not understand" she said simply she pulled the covers over her head she was so stupid for letting him get so close to her. she regretted it kind of because he would have been better off living the lie he had been.

His hand came up rubbing along her back grabbing her shoulder lightly and forcing her to look at him. “Your right Anona I don’t understand and I never will if you don’t help me understand, I want to please talk to me.”

"now you know why I'm a monster that thing is half of who I am. You know all about my past you must they sent you to find and get close to me. I have no control over my body when I become that I don't know what I do half the time. That is how I killed the very first member of the order he tried to force me he threatened my group and I killed him. I don't even remember doing it but my companions feared me just the same.

“I don’t fear you even after seeing what you can become. I understand and I know what has happened in your past with the order.” He moved closer to her stroking her cheek. “I am not scared of you I will stay around no matter what can’t you see that?” he leaned in pressing his forehead to hers. “I know you have powers, please let me help you however I can.”

Anona looked up at him "I will let you be part of this I am so sorry" she whispered she kissed him softly "I only shut you out because I fear losing you. I've only known you for a couple of weeks but You mean the world to me and I love you." she said softly.


Several months later the order had been destroyed except for a few remaining members that were too afraid to show themselves. Anona was going to give birth to their child today. She was laying in bed just having woken up from the night.

Fryan hadn’t hardly slept being up pacing most of the night. After the very long time of convincing her that he would never leave she had finally started to be able to open up and show emotion with him around and she hadn’t had another time of changing to her other form. As she stirred he came over his hand gently brushing her hair back from her face. “Morning how are you feeling lover?”

"I'm feeling good I guess" she said softly she sat up slightly she was still tired though, she reached out to him "come sit with me" she whispered she felt like she could finally relax with him. The order had nearly been destroyed except a rare few, she glad they would be celebrating this time of peace with the birth of a child they were due any time.

He smiled moving in behind her gently wrapping his arms around her waist positioning himself so she could lean back against his chest and just sit there with him. His hands gently brushed over her stomach as he kissed her neck sighing in happiness. He was so glad that she was finally able to relax and be with him letting her love for him show through. He kissed her neck again smiling, “how is our daughter behaving today?”

She smiled "she is being kind for now but I'm sure she will be being a little rascal in a little bit. This is like the quiet before the storm." she whispered she followed his hands over her stomach it felt nice to relax. She looked back at him and kissed his lips softly "I am afraid." she said softly. She was nervous about giving birth for the first time what if she wasn't a good mother she now had so much more worry about again.

He nuzzled into her hair after she kissed him hearing her unspoken concern as it had been one since she had first started showing her pregnancy. His lips moved down kissing her ear lobe whispering, “You will make a great mother there is no way you won’t.” he turned her head to kiss her deeply again pouring his love into the kiss as well as his confidence.

"we are due any time and I'm scared I want her to be happy and safe and I fear I won't do that as I should. I'm going to be a mother she is going to depend on me I've never had that before. I've never had to care for something so helpless" she whispered. "just the jitters that's all. but I know you will make a great father" she whisped returnign the kiss.

He smiled rubbing her full stomach again smiling to his beloved wife. “I know that and I understand but you are worrying for nothing I promise you.” His hand rubbed her stomach then came up softly cupping her milk filled breast rubbing it gently. “And after this one is born and you are feeling better what do you say we start on her little brother?”

"can we wait long enough to at least get used to taking care of a child. we need to at least get to the point where i can get a reasonable amount of sleep first." she said softly "but yes we could start on another child and try for a boy." she said softly she smiled nuzzling her head back against him. She felt wet suddenly under her clothes. She looked down her water had broke. "well its almost time luckily at least we have few hours now before I will be ready"

He nodded at her question about waiting more then willing to do so. His hand stroked her stomach after her water broke before he kissed her deeply and set to getting everything ready for her to have the child as well as making her comfortable by changing out the wet sheets for dry ones.

Anona looked over at him she was a bit nervous about this she knew they were so close to having the life they had both dreamed and then fought for, but she feared it would now all be swept away. She layed there trying to relax preparing for the work that was to come they would both be very busy soon. About an hour later the contractions started she groaned "we are getting close"

He did what he could helping her providing emotional support. It took awhile but finally with one last push she gave birth to a beautiful baby girl . he smiled till he saw the amount of blood that she had lost…and was still losing even now…something was badly wrong. He quickly wrapped his new daughter up after cleaning her up. He went back to his wife his hand brushing against her forehead…she was still…fearing the worst his hand touched her neck and biting his lip hard he started crying laying his head on her chest. “Don’t…you can’t leave me…not after we fought so long and finally have the life we both wanted...” there was nothing he could do, he buried her an hour later…he had so much that he needed to do and their daughter was already crying because she was hungry.
