| He pulled his pack back on under his cloak shrugging as he started toward the road. “I don’t know I think I just mostly like to have beautiful company.” He smirked as he walked past her his back now to her after that comment. That was as true as it could be he did think she was beautiful and it was a pleasure being near her for that reason but it was the only cover up reason he could think of in the short time. | |

| "you best not think such things for as soon as I return to my so called home I am spoken for but thank you" she managed to hide her blush she had never been told that before but after all what more could a woman expect from an arranged marriage. She looked at the stranger perhaps he meant her no harm after all. SHe looked him over and he wasn't bad lookign either. | |

| He turned smiling at her laughing a little, “I’m not allowed to think a woman that is spoken for is beautiful?” he smirked at her suddenly stepping very close to her his hand brushing along her cheek, “All that I did was say your beautiful, where did you mind go my lady?” A very charming roughish grin spread across his face and he turned to the road again. | |

| She looked at his hand as he showed her this strange affection that she had never been shown before she closed her eyes for a brief moment, then shook her head "do not try getting close to me, you are just wasting your time. Anyone I get attached to dies so I don't bother anymore" she said softly and rode ahead of him. She felt a slight pain as she in a way pushed him away, but anyone she'd cared about ended up dead every single one. She hated these people for making her feel so much pain despite that she had done nothing wrong. | |

| He smirked as she rode away obviously a bit flustered by his closeness. He had started to make her open to attack again and that was part of his job, but even then he found there was a part of them that was regretting making her go through the pain yet again. He shook his head and quickly rushed after her moving up beside her mount and then walking beside her. “Again I ask where was your mind? I just said you were beautiful.” | |

| "most men who admire a lady wish to get closer to them and that I can not allow myself to let happen. I don't get close anymore" she said softly. "I am to marry this man and the only reason I can allow that is because I hate him therefore I know he will survive" she said softly. There was a long moment of silence before she spoke again "do you know what its like to have every person you've ever cared about taken from you and anything you truly enjoy you can't be around long enough to truly enjoy it" she said softly. | |

| He paused looking down as they continued walking. Yes he knew the order had required him to turn away from all he knew just to join. He hadn’t wanted to but finally the last lynch pin was pulled with the accidental death of his betrothed that had been the last thing that pushed him whole heartedly into the order leaving the rest of his life behind. “Can’t say I do.” He almost choked on that lie but he had been trained well to hide his true self. “But I can imagine how it must feel…very lonely.” He slipped off letting his mind wonder just a bit. | |

| "do you know why I am traveling...." she paused she could sense that he could some how understand what she was going through " I travel to find the origin of that creature that killed my one true and closest friend, That creature is dead but I will not stop my hunt until every single thing out there that has taken part in this is dead. I will not stop and I will not relax until they have all fallen. I have never been able to feel a true hatred until now." she said softly. "all I want is to...never mind it doesn't matter what I want" she said softly. | |

| He wanted to push her to get her to open up more, but he had been warned that she would probably close up tightly if he pushed too much. “I’m sorry for your friend,” it was all her could say anything more and he would have revealed too much. He walked beside her horse just watching the ground not sure how to bring back up anything without showing his in-depth knowledge of just who she was. | |

| "she was the only one who seemed at least want to try to understand me and accept me unlike everyone else." she said softly and sighed, she looked at him a bit. She could sense that he had in a way once know the pain that could only be caused by the one closest to you being torn away. She could only sense it but could not tell what she could also sense that he kept a lot of things to himself most things in fact. He didn't seem so different from her in her mind almost | |

| He walked down the road his mind lost in memories of his lost bride. He could remember how much he loved being close to her and how it seemed she was the only one that could understand and accept him. He had to stop and shake his head clearing his thoughts because he was coming far to close to thinking that the order might have done the same thing that they are doing to her to him. That was of course silly he would have noticed if they had caused the accident to happen…wouldn’t he? “Forgive me my mind slipped a bit into some of my past there.” | |

| " we have a long road a head you know some of my past why don't you share with me some of yours if you don't mind." Anona said softly "since we are going to travel perhaps we should get to know one another a bit more." she said looking at him she dismounted and walked beside him. She figured it was rude to ride while he walked. | |

| He thought about it watching the road for a bit not wanting to show the emotion that he knew he would if he looked at her. “Theres not much to tell, I’m just your average woodsmen little interesting about me.” He looked off to the horizon a bit of the emotion of the past few years playing over his face. “Though once I dreamed of more.” His voice was whimsical and almost distant. | |

| "no I don't think you are so simple and uninteresting as you say, but I just thought that since I was kind enough to share a bit with you you might do the same for me but I guess I was mistaken I thought you were different than most of the people I have seen." She said picking up her pace closing him out, she wouldn't allow him to get close to her if he was not goign to allow the same. | |

| He blinked as she suddenly sounded hurt and walked away from him quickly. He increased his stride and passed her to turn and face her. “I’m sorry I didn’t mean to make you think I was unwilling…merely that I didn’t see myself as all that interesting. I will be glad to continue to add to the story please just let me continue.” | |

| "then share your story for if we are to travel together we must get to know each other a bit, I need to learn about you before I can learn to trust you" she said softly. she stopped "perhaps we should stop for now. it is startign to get a bit darker" she said softly. "I like to see that there is some one else out there with a story to tell just like I do." she said softly. | |

| Fryan smiled pointing down the road a bit. “Let’s push on there is a good inn I know of not too far from here maybe half an hour’s walk and the path is open up until then.” He looked thoughtful for a moment. “Now where to begin. Well I was born in a very average or below average mining town up in the foothills of Anduil. I was supposed to be a miner like my father but I was far too thin and wiry for that. So I apprenticed to a woodsmen there and quickly learned my trade and by the age of thirteen I was ready to set off on my journeymen-ship. I have never been back.” He trailed off a for a moment looking at the stars before starting again, “I wasn’t eighteen when I met her…she had hair like the sunrise and eyes like a robin’s egg. I settled down and started to make a rather good living for myself in her home town…until” he stoped again having to wipe his eyes of tears. “I had been there for three years and was just recently engaged to her…when there as a accident…a old building’s support beam had rotted through and it fell…she was killed in the fall…I haven’t stopped moving since then.” | |

| "I am sorry for your loss I understand the pain of losing some one close to you, but i have never felt the loss of true love. I never got the chance to have it. i grew up in a town my parents were wealthy at the age of 14 my father was seeking out suitors to court me. but none of them could truly charm me I knew that if I did not choose one for myself they would choose for me so I chose the one that seemed to want to charm me so badly he wants my affection but I can not give it when I do not feel a connection. I spent most of my years growing up studying language, history, art, literature, things women aren't supposed to do. I read poetry even and I imagined that love would make my heart stop even if for only a moment and I would feel like I couldn't tear my eyes from them like nothing else existed or mattered, but I am beginning to realize that my dream can't happen. It is difficult to find that person you are meant to be with but even more difficult when you have heartless cowards killing anyone you get close to." she said softly. "so I have decided I will do what I came to do then go back and marry this man, I know that is the best I can get for myself because at least that way no one else will die." she whispered. "though I am sorry that you lost her be thankful that you at least got to love and know her." | |

| He sighed looking down nodding as she spoke listening to her but at times his own thoughts of his one love interposing. He heard enough to be able to nod at the right times and seem like he heard it all. “Thank you but it was years ago so its mostly just a old scar that hasn’t healed completely. I am sorry that you have never had the joy of finding love in your life. Though with what you say you have gone through I can see why you wouldn’t want anyone close that you loved.” | |

| "you know what I have always wanted most of all" She paused for a long moment thinking before she spoke "I've wanted some one that understands me, accepts me as I am , and perhaps some day loves me" she said laughing at herself "but that can't happen so long as a member of this order still breathes. I have no choice I have to kill all of them. They will never leave me alone" she said softly. She sighed looking around a bit "we should stop this looks like a good place to make camp for the night" she said softly and pointed to an area by a small stream "we will need water." | |

| He nodded listening to her talk about her dream and understanding the desire for it. It was when she said that all the order must die that he had to stop and blink, what was so bad about the order? He had heard her tell how she blamed the order for the death of her closest friend, but the order couldn’t really have done that could they? He shook his head clearing these thoughts and nodding toward the clearing. “yes it will.” He quickly set about gathering wood and rocks for the fire after dropping his pack down to one side of the camp they would make. | |

| Anona sighed and tied her horse and removed the load from its back, she gently stroked its nose affectionately "my horse is the only one that I haven't lost yet and he doesn't even have a name. I guess the order doesn't view him as enough to bring me over edge. What they don't realise is that by killing the people close to me all that does is increase my hate for them which makes me even less likely to cooperate, but oh well they will all pay for their foolishness soon enough. You wanna know what's sad... I almost fell in love for the first time but just when /i was starting to understand why I felt so safe with him and drawn to spend more time with him and be closer to him... He was killed while I was out getting supplies. I came back to find him dead in the room we had stayed in. I find that depressing and yet slightly humorous as the same time. Some would call that madness I call it coping with the pain of being so close to reaching something then having it swept away. Leaving you empty and broken inside" she said looking him in the eyes for brief moment letting him see a glimpse of the emotions she felt mixed in the many colors of her eyes just before she looked away as if afraid. | |

| He started to make the fire as she talked he let his mind wonder back to how much he had loved his future wife but then losing her had pushed him over the edge into thinking like the order. Something wasn’t right and he had begun seeing a pattern in both his and this girls life. But there couldn’t be any connection between the order and all these deaths. “It doesn’t make sense why would they think that killing the ones close to you would make you want to join them?” he was still playing dumb about why the order wanted her. | |

| "because they figure if they kill everyone I get close to that I will give up and decide its not worth the fight anymore and learn to embrace the pain and not let it hurt me anymore, but I will never give in. or perhaps they want me to think that all I do is hurt people and joining them would supposedly let me help people but they are nothing but liars." she said softly she just sat there staring into the flames tiredly, any one could tell she did not sleep well because of the dark circles under her eyes from the countless nightmares she had. "I'll be back in a bit." she said walking off towards the stream she removed her boots and socks stepping into the cool water letting it run over her bare feet she closed her eyes it was these simple things that calmed her. | |

| He sat thinking about all she said wondering what it was that had given her such a bad outlook on the order. Sure a lot of bad things had happened to her but no more than him and he wasn’t blaming the order for the bad things that had happened to him. A brief moment a thought passed his mind that maybe he should blame them, but it was quickly brushed aside. Quickly putting a pot onto the fire and adding a few things to start cooking. He walked over and making sure that he knew he was there he knelt behind her and reached out gently, “You seem like you need to relax let me help.” He started to gently rub her shoulders being very slow and gentle about it always willing to let her pull away. | |
