child of chaos (pony and kolath)

During the night she had a nightmare, she was quivering as she slowly moved her bed roll over next to his. she was careful not to wake him as she rested her head on his shoulder and went back to sleep she felt better being close to him but she wanted to be the one that got close not him.

He didn’t wake when she moved though on instinct his arm wrapped around her as they slept. So it was a bit of a shock when he woke feeling a nice soft warm body pressed close against him. his hand brushed over her arm lightly as he just looked down at her head on his chest. It felt so good he didn’t want to move and so just lay there with her still asleep at least for now.

She nuzzled her cheek against his chest as she slept she slowly opened her eyes as a cool breeze blew across her face. When she saw he was awake before she could move she turned bright red. She got up getting things packed up for the day. She brushed her hair and looked over at him "we should get moving" she said softly.

He smiled and nodded quickly getting up and helping get everything packed and ready for the travel ahead. “We had better get going Caric is a full day’s journey down the road and we want to get their before nightfall so we can be sure of a room at the inn.” He pulled his pack up onto his back all ready to go as he looked over to be sure she was.

She started walking she kept letting her mind drift back to them kissing by the stream last night she woudl shake her head but it always just came back. She hoped she would be ready to share the room with him but she just wasn't ready for a large level of closeness considering she hadn't hardly even hugged anyone growing up much less kissed anyone.

He walked along beside her in silence just letting her walk with her thoughts not wanting to disturb them. That continued till late that evening as the sun was beginning to set behind them and the village they were traveling to came into view. He smiled and started off toward it at a faster pace hoping she would keep up.

She kept up with ease and once they reached the inn she made some trades and got them a room for the night bShe walked up to the room unlocking the door she walked in dropping her things on the floor she sat on the bed she hadn't spoken a word since that morning she was still uneasy about everything that had happened. She looked over at him and wondered what might happen tonight between them.

He followed her up to the room tossing his pack onto the table. He had made arrangements to have food brought up to them that night and before long it arrived and he poured them both drinks of wine from the pitcher that was brought up. He could see how nervous and uneasy she was , walking over and handing her the cup he sighed sitting beside her on the bed. “I can sleep on the floor without any problem if it would make you feel better.”

"no its fine I'm just not used to being close to anyone "she took a sip of the wine she looked at her eyes never leaving his she leaned in and lightly kissed the corner of his mouth then got up "I haven't hardly been hugged for as long as I can remember. how can I be expected cope with these things."

His hand came up to her shoulder gently rubbing, “I’m sorry I didn’t mean to push you into this too fast.” He lightly kissed her back sighing softly. “You don’t have to be close to me if you don’t want I can just be your friend if you would like that better."

"no that's not what I want."She said softly "you just made me feel something I hadn't before and I'm not used that feeling and it makes me nervous and it scares me" she said softly she sat back down looking over at him. She looked him in the eyes she inhaled deeply and leaned in kissing him deeply letting her eyes fall closed.

He kissed her back his hands stroking over her hair and neck lightly just holding her close. He sighed lightly feeling a connection forming with her that he had never had with anyone ever before. He didn’t push her only pressing back lightly against her lips wanting more but asking for it rather then taking it letting her decide.

She lifted her hand slowly it was shaking as she placed it on his cheek stroking his skin with her thumb. "I believe you promised me a date when we got into town or have you forgotten" she whispered. She looked him in the eyes he could easily see it in her eyes that she was trying very hard to adjust.

He smiled nodding gently pulling back from her letting her adjust. His hand stayed on her cheek as he rose it moving down to take her hand, “Yes I did promise you a date tonight so come on lets go have some fun on the town.” He gently urged her toward the door.

She let him pull her she tripped on a nail sticking out of the floor falling into him, she pulled herself up and kissed him softly blushing a bit. She moved forward towards the door wanting to go out and see what was in this town never having seen so many people around her before.

He smiled holding her around the waist as they headed out into the town. The first place he took her was the market with all the foods for the local carnival, which just happened to be going on now, were being sold. He used some of his money getting her a meat pasty explaining to her about a lot of the sights and sounds.

She was amazed at how strange some of the people behaved she smiled up at him she looked at the strange food he had handed her. she kissed his cheek and took a taste it tasted strange to her. She wasn't sure what to do exactly now she had never been anywhere like this place her father always made her stay home if he left.

He smiled showing her through the town doing his best to explain everything. Finally he led her to a small walled in garden with a single gate. The moon was full and there was a open gazebo there with benches running along the inner wall. He gently drew her over to it sitting down patting the spot next to him. “So enjoying yourself?”

She smiled and sat down "yes I am for once in my life" she said softly. she bit her lip and leaned in kissing him deeply slowly letting her eyes fall closed. She rested one hand on his shoulder and the other on the side of his face. She was actually surprisingly happy right now. She had never known such happiness existed.

He blinked for a few moments letting her kiss him but finally kissing her back his hands coming to rest on her waist. He stroked her sides lightly being very careful that it was not going to shock her just light loving touches.

She leaned in a bit closer her body only inches from his she was still afraid of total physical contact but a little bit at a time was alright it didn't bother her as much. she gently stroked his cheek with her thumb deepening the kiss she hesitantly parted her lips. She wanted to be much closer to him but she was still afraid.

He let her control it knowing how scared she was. He leaned back against the kiss one of his hands brushing up her back to slip into her hair gently holding her there the other around her waist. He leaned her back a little not forcing any more closeness then she had given but letting her know that he wanted to do more when she was ready.

She leaned into him more pressing her body lightly against his she liked being in control it made her feel more comfortable with him. She hesitantly moved her tongue forward to lightly touch his lips. She felt very warm as he hormones started raging She pressed more against him part of her afraid of being so close the other part of her only wanted more. She moved her hand from his cheek to his hair running her fingers through it.

He couldn’t help but growl as he pressed back against her his tongue coming out to meet hers as his hands brushed over her back scratching it lightly. He didn’t want to push her but felt a part of him doing just that as it started to get hard pressing against her stomach as she pressed close to him. he wanted her so much but he was trying not to rush her he wanted this to last and be special.

She felt a heat rising within her when a bosh next to them suddenly burst into flames she jumped and quickly pulled away from him she raised her hand pulling the flames from the bush and absorbing them she ran back to the inn and hid in their room she curled up in a ball under the bed she had done something very bad though it wasn't something she had control over.
