He blinked as the fire seemed to start so easily. He laughed looking at her, “You are good with fires I see,” he coughed a little bit of pride slipping into his voice, “But I got it to that point so you could start it so easily.” he soon set off into the woods for a bit to a nearby stream they could hear coming back soon with full canteens as well as the cooking pot to make some food in.

By the time he came back she had already caught rabbit and was starting to skin it "my dad and I used to catch these all the time her mothers sword was resting beside her carefully hidden in its sheath. She had always kept it close it was the only thing she had that belonged to the mother she'd never met.

He came back nodding in admiration at her abilities in hunting. He added some vegetable, that he had brought from home to the pot. He noticed the sword to the side and raised a eyebrow and while he waited for her to finish cleaning the rabbits he asked about it. “That’s a nice sword where did you get it?”

she looked over at the sword "it was my mothers. its all I have that was hers. she died giving birth to me." she said softly. that was a difficult for her. she ha often wondered about her mother since her father told her she was just like her mother. she held onnto it a bit it was a comfort to her.

“oh…I’m sorry I didn’t mean to bring up a painful subject.” He bit his lip lightly looking over and her before he came over and started to help clean the rabbit carcass taking the skin and hanging it above the fire to cure in the smoke and burying the innards. “That ready for the pot?”

she chopped up the meat and added it to the pot she kissed the corner of his mouth softly "its not your fault you didn't know and its not so much painful as it is frustrating never even meeting her." she said softly she smiled a bit and stirred the pot silently.

He couldn’t help but laugh nervously as she kissed him so close to the mouth. Blushing he covered it up by pulling out the seasonings he had brought and adding them into the pot to make a good dinner for them. He thickened it by adding in some of the travel bread and then taking her bowl dished it up for her before he did so for himself also.

She smiled a bit she actually liked being around him yes he was difficult much like the men she had read about in books but he was still caring and sweet. she took the soup food and ate it slowly she kept looking over at him a bit shyly. She wasn't sure what to say now she wasn't used to having anyone to really talk to. "it is a bit strange being out here like this I haven't been outside of home before" she said softly trying to break the silence.

He also slowly ate the thick stew not sure what to say very happy when she spoke up. “I suppose, you get used to being out here when you have lived no where else. Even Caric down the road is nothing really. Now Beruna two days away now that is something to see, the stone walls around it are said to be a good twelve feet thick.” He was referring to a city and smaller village in the area.

"perhaps we should start out with the smaller village since I haven't been around people much so I'm not really used to it. I'm not even sure if the way I act with you is correct social wise right now" she said softly she was frustrated that her father had sheltered her this much growing up. She finished her food and went to the stream to clean up her dish putting it over by the fire she snuck off to the stream again getting into her undergarments to clean up a bit she was a bit dirty.

He nodded, “That would be Caric then you don’t get much smaller then that it is almost more of a trading outpost then a village just somewhere for farmers and merchants to meet and discuss prices.” He was finishing eating when she disappeared the second time and after a few moments he headed for the stream to wash his bowl as well. He froze when he got close seeing her in her underclothes in the water washing herself. He stood transfixed not saying anything though he felt he should or should leave, but he couldn’t stop looking.

She washed some of the grime that had formed on her skin she hadn't washed in a couple of days she dipped her long hair into the water and let the cool water run through it then flipped it back. she rinsed her face she just sat there in the water silently. She felt so good just sitting there letting the water wash over her skin. She lifted her hand slightly and a small thin stream of water started to travel through the air like a floating stream and started to flow from the top of her head down. she was using some of her power that she had managed to harness so far.

He looked on in wonder his eyes roving over her body and though she was still partially dressed he could see enough for a boy that had hardly seen a girl out of her outer dress. His breathing was a bit heavier as he watched her rub over her body wishing silently that it was his hands that could be doing that. However when he saw what she did with the water he just stood there his mouth open wide before he took one step back stepping on a dry twig.

she turned around her eyes shot wide open she turned bright red and ran to hide behind a tree breathing heavily she was afraid that he might reject her now that he had seen that. She was worried that he would prove her father right her father had warned her not to let other people see what she was and what she could do. she didn't know what she was supposed to say right now.

He was blushing also biting his lip and looking down. “I’m sorry I shouldn’t have been looking I…Just…I…you are so beautiful that I couldn’t take my eyes away from your body.” He blushed deeper looking down against seeing that his cock was straining against his breeches from the show he had been enjoying. “Please don’t hate me I will go and let you get dressed. He nodded going over to her tunic and picking it up. Turning just long enough to toss her tunic over to the tree so she could get it he quickly turned back around. “I do think you are beautiful, and as for what I saw…I don’t understand it but no I’m not scared as long as you’re not going to use it to hurt anyone, I honestly think its cool.”

She pulled on the home made tunic that she had designed herself. she moved in closer to him she looked him over her eyes showed just how nervous she was. "I wouldn't hurt anyone unless I had no choice especially you" she said softly she moved in a bit closer she rubbed her arm shyly and leaned up kissing his lips with a soft peck "no one has ever looked at me like you do before. I only knew of it through books" she said softly.

His hand came up to brush along her cheek and gently hold her close their faces just inches apart. He like the feel of her lips and wanted more of it. he leaned back close to her returning the soft peck whispering, “Well it was very real and I think you are the most beautiful girl I have ever seen…tell me what else did you read of in books?”

"about finding the one you are meant to be with forever." she whispered she held her breath when he kissed her. She exhaled slowly and shakily the fact that he was so close made her heart be so fast that she felt it might burst in her chest. "I read about life stories but not much else my father said that reading about life would be enough for me to know about life" she said softly she drifted off as she kissed him once more this felt so strange to her. her eyes fell closed as she hesitantly rested her hand on his shoulder.

His arms slipped around her waist as he gently pushed her back against the tree she had been hiding behind a moment ago. Pressing close his hands rubbed lightly over her sides and arms just the tips of his thumbs brushing against the undersides of her breasts not wanting to push her too far. "that is why I left is because I wanted live life not read about it" she said softly. she closed her eyes for a brief moment "we should try to rest a bit tonight."

He let her pull away looking at her back for a few moments. He came up behind her after she mentioned that they should rest his hands brushing over her arms and shoulder. “Yeah your right,” he took her hand softly and walked with her back to the camp quickly breaking out their sleep rolls laying them out near the fire.

She rolled her shoulders in his grasp her eyes flashed red then vanished, she shook her head "please don't touch my shoulders" she whispered softly. she laid out her bed roll and layed down quietly she was still in a haze of what had just happened between them. What would her mother think of what she was doing she didn't even know the woman she only knew what her father had told her. He had told her she would be much like her mother which made her wonder even more.

He laid down slightly away from her on a different side of the fire so as not to make her more uncomfortable. He sighed still feeling the press of her lips against his and wishing to feel it again and more. He laid on his back looking up at the stars letting his mind wonder through the paths of adventure just to see what was there.
