"no we are all goign to play no exclusions Mike. Don't be such a hardass" she teased she walked back to Kole kissing him sliding her hand down his chest showign the hickey she had given him earlier then she went over and took her shot. She hated it when Mike acted like this she didn't understand why he did this all the time. "steven its your turn" she said tossing him her cue. then sat on Kole's lap.

Kole handed the drink to Alex and held her waist easing her down to sit on his lap. He placed his ear to her back listening to her heart beat. He was happy enough just being able to hold her, though he could feel dagger from Mike's eyes. He didn't care he was holding the woman he loved. The sound from Steven hitting the ball echoing through the area. Though he didn't hear if steve made the shot or not so he stayed seated holding Alex in his arms.

ALex watched Steven made the shot but he scratched so it was Kole's turn but before she could tell him Mike tossed the cue to Kole Alex quickly got up glaring at Mike she walked over to Steven "what's wrong with mike?" she asked steven not understanding fully. She hoped he would know what was going on because she was getting annoyed.

Steven took her hand a leaned into her ear, an action that kinda worried Kole. "Alex sweetie your as blind as a bat with ear plugs. Mike's been trying to get with you for the past year." Kole had caught the cue somehow his reflexes felt something coming, and since he was behind Alex it was a threat to her first. He kinda shot a quick glance over at Steve not sure what exactly to think about the guy. Then again Kole really didn't have a clue about Steven or why her and him were friends. Kole kept quiet not wanting to jump to conclusions about it. He took his shot hitting the striped 12 ball into the pocket. "Your turn baby." He said softly

Mike rolled his eyes at the words that left kole's mouth. 'Like she deserves a guy like him. He was a complete ass to her when they met and now I beat shes fucking him every night.' Mike thought to himself though his facial expressions didn't exactly hide his anger.

Alex looked at Steven "oh well I guess that explains it I'll be right back" she said to him She took the cue and Aimed carefully bending over the table slightly and taking her shot, she sucked at playing pool but oh well it was still fun for her. she always seemed to miss except for on a rare occaision, she straightened back up and walked back over to Steven "how long have you know about this and you didn't tell me?"

Kole handed the cue to Mike who must have been the next one up hearing a grumble from Mike. Kole let go of the cue when Mike had a hold of it. He knew Alex wasn't the kind to have a relation outside the one they were in, or at least he hoped she wouldn't. He had heard things about it from others at school when him and Lynn went there, but he never had to worry about it before.

"Let's just say Mike isn't that hard to read, mainly when he stares at your ass every time your around." Steve said softly in her ear once again. "I didn't tell you because I knew for a fact it would end in heartbreak. I mean seriously love would you WANT to go out with Mike?"

She looked at Steven and smiled "ya I wouldn't ever date him he strikes me as the type who just wants some one to fuck and nothing more not some one to genuinly care about and love like I need" she looked over at Kole she was worried Mike was going to start something. "besides he's an ok friend but not the relationship type of guy. Plus he gets jealous too easy" she said laughing a bit. she went over to Kole and kissed him soflty and sat back down on his lap gently taking his hand in hers interlacing their fingers.

Kole knew he shouldn't ask but it was kinda bugging him, and he knew he could trust her. "Baby." He whispered into her ear. "Should I be worried about Steven?" his hand squeezing her hand a bit hugging her. Mike looked irritated as he missed his shot. And came over and set the cue down by Kole. "Your shot hurry up lets finish this stupid team game so we can get back to one on one."

"no Steven isn't jsut my best friend he's also gay the only you have to worry about is that he might hit on you" she said softly she got up letting him go play she gave Mike the look she was getting tired of his attitude towards Kole. "Kole maybe we should just go home after this game" she said softly. She didn't need this childishness in her life right now.

"Yeah cause Steve and I are such a bore I beat you'd rather be on your back rather then hanging out with us. How long was it since the last time we got to hang out, two weeks? wonder how long your relationship will last once Asshole there gets tired of the sex." The whole bar pretty much fell silent the few people that were there at this hours were regulars and they had slightly gotten to know Kole as the un official bouncer of the place.

Kole set the cue down on the table. "I think it wise you just leave that subject out of it Mike. What business Alex and I have in bed is none of your concern. So I suggest you shrug of what ever it is you have against me and leave it well enough alone." Steve couldn't help but nod at the words that came from Kole's mouth, adding his own verbal agreement to the mix.

"Yeah what ever not like you can do anything about it, I kicked your ass once I can do it again." Mike growled grabbing Alex's wrist.

"That is a very unwise thing to do." Kole said softly once more. "I don't want to have to hurt Alex's friend."

Alex glared at him "I would suggest you remove your hand. Or I will remove it for you" she said glaring up at him, When he didn't respond she raised her other fist and struck him firmly in the jaw he tossed her aside making her fall to the floor since she was quite a bit smaller than he was. "I see how it is you can fuck this asshole you just met but you can't fuck the one who's wanted you for the past year." he said bitterly.
Alex got up "that's because I know you wouldn't really care about me like he does you jsut want a piece of ass and I'm not willing to let that happen. You're such a dick that right there is reason enough to never date you" she said coldly.
Mike turned on her and back handed her across the face. She backed away holding her face.

"That was a very bad move on your part." Kole said. As soon as Alex was out of range He picked up the pool cue tip first and swung it hard the think end hitting Mike's neck as though it was a baseball. With a twist of his body the recoil from the hit spun Kole around to get a second blow on the back of Mike's thick head. Kole was back to being that asshole from a few months ago. He reached into his pocket something he had always carried in case of someone trying to be stupid. He picked mike up by the hair as the idiot groaned. "There is only one way to beat a bad ass and unfortunately for you I know the answer to it." He flicked his wrist opening the knife pointing it at Mike. "So how do you beat a badass?" Kole asked while Mikes eyes were opened in fear. "You be a bigger badass." The bar answered before Kole threw the knife into the floor and laying in a solid headbutt to the front of Mike's forehaed.

Alex went over to Kole and gently touched his back hesitating a red mark had formed on her cheek from Mike hitting her, she kicked mike firmly in the side "Kole please take us back to my place." she said softly she went over and hugged Steven goodbye. "please Kole lets just go back to my place remember I made us something I think you'll like" she said softly she kissed his cheek gently her own cheek was a bit swollen. She now knew that she would always be safe with Kole which felt nice to her.

"Just a moment love." He said softly kissing her I'll be out to the car in a minute can you wait for me there?" Mike still needed a good idea on who he was dealing with. "I'm sure Steven here will give you the details once we get to your house." Kole lead her to the door and closed it behind her. "Steven." He said walking up to the place where Mike was laying in pain. "I'm not going to, well lets just say your safe. Mike here on the other hand." He said softly squatting down. "Mike I can promise you two things as of right now. One Your going to be in alot of pain tomorrow. And two, If I so much see you eye Alex the wrong way from here on out I'll make sure you won't be able to see ever again." Mike groaned and Kole smiled "good boy." He said roughly patting Mike on the forehead. "Bobby, make sure he gets to a hospital." He called to the bartender which gave him a nod.

Kole walked from the bar and to his car unlocking the door, and opening it for Alex. When he sat down on the driver side he sighed. "I really didn't want to have to show you that this early on in the relationship love. I'm sorry." Chances were it changed how she viewed him, but he couldn't stand there and do nothing. She was too important to him and he needed to make an example out of Mike, after all if he could do that to one of her friends what could he do with any random person?

"thank you. I'm not used being protected I've been hit by guys before no one ever did anything about it" she said smiling over at him a bit she rested her hand on his leg "lets go home" she whispered softly. The truth was the idea of having a man that could protect her was a major turn on for her. "I'm not upset with you if that's what you are thinking in fact I'm happy that you protected and stood up for me" she said smilign over at him. She planned to reward him if he'd let her.

He turned the engine on and kissed her lips before driving away to her house. "Anyone who doesn't stand up for you is a pussy." He said harshly. "I don't see why men just stand there and let others do it." He drove up to her driveway and parked the car. He turned to her after turning it off and kissed her deeply being careful of her cheek. Alex smiled happily "I love you too Kole" she said softly she slowly got out of the car heading up to the door unlocking it and walking inside. She put the manicotti in the oven and walke dover kissing him deeply and passionately sliding her arms to wrap around his neck holding him close she hoped he was ready because all the time s they had nearly had sex and the fact that he protected her all both these were drivign her mad. She wanted to take the next step with him and they had an hour to kill till dinner was ready.

His lips met her passionately. He smiled as the kissed as his hands slid down her body grabbing her ass tightly in his hands. "I hope what ever you have for me can wait." She just went into her room and pulled on lace and silk night gown stopping just below her butt, it was red with a matching thong, she walked over to him kissing him deeply and longingly. "Not really what I had in mind but okay." He said softly laying her down onto the couch kissing her lips deeply. His hand roamed over the front of her body as they continued to kiss. She smirked a bit "a bit fiesty this evening are we" she whispered she didn't mind him destroying it she actually kind of liked the agression and dominance he showed her, she lifted up his shirt wanting to remove it so she could claw at his chest most dominant men liked that.
