He could only shrug as to why this was happening to them. "they said something about violating a restraining order." His hand slipped through the bars to hold her hand. "Other than that I don't know anything. They took everything I had on me so they are all put in a box somewhere here in the station." He sighed once again and leaned his head against the bars.

she took his hand tightly in hers "I hired a lawyer we are going to fix this. Soon we will be back at our home and you will be in my arms. I know my parents have something to do with this." she whispered she leaned against the bars as well kissing him deeply and lovingly "I don't care what it takes I will get you out of here." she said softly. She looked deep into his eyes she slowly moved away still holding his hand until it slipped through her fingers. She looked back at him as she was guided through the doors the speak with the officers in charge of the case.

He kissed her back deeply the kiss showing her just how much he loved her. It felt as though his heart broke when she was pulled from his hands. There was a rather loud bang as his head hit the bars. He groaned silently as his right arm dropped.

She found out that he had violated the restraining order She quickly tried to explain that he had not known until a the night before when her parents had come. She had her lawyer working on getting things worked out. she went back to his cell "they say you violated the restraining order. but we are trying to fight this. " she said softly she gently took his hand "I won't let things continue like this." she whispered.

He sighed again. "Last time I checked there was only Lynn's parents on that order." I have a copy of the order in one of my boxes at home." He said softly holding her hands once again. He kissed her as many times as he could before the guard came back to pull her away from him once again.

She nodded and glared at the guard then escaped she ran back kissing him softly "I will be back." she said softly. She hurried back to the house and got the paper and returned to the station. she gave it to the lawyer. The lawyer nodded her name was on it. He would need to go back to his office to think of a way to work through this.

He kissed her back one final time before she was forced to leave. He laid down on the bench in the cell. The day had been long and alot of people had been arrested only to be put in the same cell as him.

Alex didn't sleep hardly at all that night she kept spinning his ring on her finger just hoping he would walk through that door. The lawyer called the next afternoon he had found a way around the charges. she sighed with relief but they would also need a reasonable and understanding judge. She drove over to the station to meet with the lawyer so he could explain the details to him she could only look through the window but it was better than not seeing him at all.

Kole looked terrible having to stay up a full twenty four hours in a jail cell not knowing what some moron might do if he slept. Sure enough it was explained that he had violated the order by hanging out with Alex. "Wait how the hell can Alex be on there when she was out of state?" Alex never agreed to be on the order at least not to Kole's knowledge which meant a big loop hole. and even if that was not the case Alex invited him top move in which meant shouldn't it be null and void? He groaned hitting his tired head onto the Plexiglas. He continued to sit and listen to how the professional was going to get him out of jail.

She watched he looked exhausted she started talking to one of the police to see if he could get a private room since he was going to be staying a while after a few minutes he finally agreed. She walked int he room next since she had permission "I arranged for you to have you own room so you can get some rest. I was so worried about you last night."

"You don't need to worry about me love. I can handle my own." He slowly began to fall forward. He had been so worn out and his body was trying to force him for some rest. He caught himself but only long enough to get to the small wannabe bed. He sat up his head heavy trying to force himself to retain the information the lawyer was talking about.

Alex nodded "get some sleep I love you" she whispered she went home and tried to take a nap but was unsuccessful she couldn't stop worrying she put on a movie and ended up passing out. She couldn't believe her parents were doing this to her.

It wasn't long before he fell asleep. It was shorter still until the time where he was forced awake for the 'meal'. He pushed it away and went to lay back down though he couldn't fall back asleep. This went on for days and Kole started looking worse and worse with each of Alex's visits. The lawyer seemed to be taking his sweet time with working out all the angles for the trial, not that there should have been a trial but this shit had gotten out of hand somewhere.

She had hardly slept since he had been taken into custody. she called the lawyer telling him she wanted them to get somewhere soon or she was going to find some one else to do it instead. she went by the to visit Kole "Kole I brought you some manicotti I know how much you love it I thought it might cheer you up they say you aren't eating much."

Kole was about to take the food until the guard came in and told her she wasn't allowed to bring outside food. He sighed once more hoping that this better be shorter than the lawyer had predicted. "Whens the trial love I don't know how much longer I can stand this." His head hit the bars once more it seemed as though he was almost ready to give up.

She leaned in whispering "dont worry I'm friends with one of the police and he will bring you a plate. but I hope this will be over soon I told the lawyer we better make some progress soon or I'll find some one else." she said softly. She leaned in kissing him deeply and passionately through the bars.

Kole sighed once again. Why did all this crap have to happen to him. Then it hit him, none of this was his fault there wasn't a damn thing wrong with him. "Alex I need you to find something for me, and do something for me as well. I need the white mask I keep around. I need that and a copy of the restraining order. I think our lawyer might be paid off but don't say anything about it tell him I want the trail set for three days from now. I might have figured a way to solve this."

she nodded and headed for the door "I love you I will be right back. I'll work on getting a hearing for that day to see if we can get you out with out going to trial." she said softly. She hurried out the door the get the mask and copy of the restraining order. She wanted to do all she could to help him.

"NO! I want the trial." he called out before she got out the door. He hoped she heard him in time. "This as after all what her family wanted a big long winded trial well they were going to get a trial. He sat down ignoring the fact that he was hungry.

ALex stormed into the lawyers office "you have three days to get us on trial or you're fired. I'm not going to beat around the bush any longer and if he's not out I'll still fire you." she said and walked out. She went back to her house made a copy of the restraining order and the mask.

The lawyer couldn't afford to lose his client for multiple reasons. Just as Kole had thought on the third day while He was being escorted into the court building He seen the lawyer being paid off. Chance are that if it hadn't been a trail the judge too would have been paid off. Kole was seated when his time came and when the judge asked for opening statements Kole's lawyer stood to his feet. "Your honor I'd like to point out......"

"This man is not my lawyer and I want his words Stricken from the record!" everyone looked at Kole in disbelief. The lawyer stammered. "You heard me shut your trap you're fired!" Infuriated that his ex client had been so rude he stormed out gathering his things. "I wish to represent myself." Kole explained. "My fiancee Has the paperwork I require."

Alex handed him everything he had asked for a long with a list of three witnesses to be submitted to give him some extra help incase he wanted it. She watched him nervously her hands were fidgeting in her lap. both her friend Steven and her boss were there.

Kole took out the papers and set them on the table. "First and foremost I want to point out that this trail is a front for a families personal vendetta against me. I'll let the prosecutor go first because I'm sure she has a lot more experience than I do and sent people are spending so much money in this trial I feel that they should have a least a chance before I mop the floor with her."

The judge looked a bit strangely at Kole but nodded "alright please present your case" he said to the prosecutor. He sat there patiently listening to their opening statement it was clean but he noticed many holes . Once they had finished he turned to Kole "please present your opening statement now you are aware that you can not claim an unfair trial once you start. You are waving that right as of now." he said simply. He liked a clean fair trial he didn't like how corrupt many systems had become over the years and wanted his courtroom to remain untainted.
